SPOTLIGHT OF THE MONTH
This month, we’re excited to spotlight Larry Odoyo who works in the Marketing and Research Department at African Association Management Company (AFAMCO). AFAMCO is a pioneering association management firm on the continent.
He is currently planning the African Association Summit 6 (AAS6), set to take place in Pretoria, South Africa. This project brings together vision, organization and a lot of behind-the-scenes coordination.
“Millenium feels like the perfect environment for me. It’s more than just a desk, I get to network with people, exchange ideas, enjoy the reliable internet, and let’s be honest, the unlimited coffee is another silver lining of my days!”, he said.
What drives him most is his curiosity, his desire to keep learning something new every day and to truly listen. That mindset, he says, keeps his work exciting and meaningful.
And when the laptop closes? He is equally passionate about life off the desk in the agricultural field. He majorly focuses on food crop farming and the rearing of sheep. A balance of strategy, growth, and grounded living.
